The focus of many pet owners seems to be directed towards their animals, which makes a great deal of sense in most cases. The Guardian online posted an article recently about a new art project that: “invites viewers to phone a glacier in Iceland - and listen to its death throes, live, through a microphone submerged deep in the bitterly cold lagoon which relays the splashes, creaks and groans as great masses of melting ice sheer off and crash into the water.” This is the project of Katie Paterson, a London-based art student working on this piece as her final project.
