When Flash Met Blasphemy: Bible Fight

As top contender in the controversial gaming category, and at the risk of dividing our audience, we bring you Bible Fight! This is a flash-based online game developed by Adultswim and Pop&Co with a simple premise: biblical characters battle it out in a 2D environment a la Street Fighter.

At the top of interactive web design

There’s design and then there’s design. Red Interactive Agency’s website is an embodiment of the team’s design skills and a sublime execution of an interactive online user experience. Entry into the site is all rather familiar, there’s the usual sidebar of options, the company header and it’s all very neat and tidy. There is nothing at first to suggest that this isn’t going to be just another online portfolio from yet another online design company. But wait a few seconds more and the world of ‘Ethan Haas’ suddenly opens up before you, we shift from a design site to a mesmerising explorable landscape in seconds! There is little point talking any more about it, I suggest you go and see for yourselves. Make sure you check out the character options and don’t forget to fly! Enjoy

The 8th wonder of the world: Flash Earth

You’ve probably already checked out Google Earth (if not then go now!) but I’m not sure you’ve come across Flash Earth. For one Flash Earth doesn’t have a global marketing campaign behind it and for two it’s “an experimental application that uses satellite and aerial imagery from online mapping websites without official consent”.

So what’s it all about? Well like Google Earth you can peruse our planet at the click of a mouse, zooming in to pinpoint our own house to zooming out for a world view in just seconds. The difference with Flash Earth is that there’s no need to download any software, it’s a browser based program meaning you’re up and running in a few seconds and it is far less resource consuming than Google Earth. Flash Earth was developed by Paul Neave, it’s an awesome piece of work, go check it out now!
